"Providing Support" is the most basic way we can e "Providing Support" is the most basic way we can explain what GNI encompasses.

Specific ways we provide support are:
- Providing Refuge: We have numerous homes and partners that actively look for trafficked children to bring into their home to give them refuge and safety.
- Providing Food, Shelter, Clothing and Education: Through our ministries, every child is given the basic needs for life, as well as the opportunity to go to school so they can gain an education and escape the cycle of poverty.
- Providing Health Care: Every child and person in our ministry has the opportunity, through the funds donated to the program, to access healthcare.
- Providing Spiritual Support: In all of our programs, we provide discipleship, mentorship, preaching, teaching and prayer. This is available not only for our leadership, but also for the children in the homes. We are seeing cycles now of the older children who have been in the home longer beginning to disciple the younger children! What a joy it is to see the ministry come full circle in this way!

For more information, please send us a message or check out our website. We'd love to answer any questions you might have about GNI.

The second focus of GNI is one that is more diffic The second focus of GNI is one that is more difficult to talk about.

Human trafficking is growing to be an enormous problem, especially for areas with heavy drug addiction, abuse and poverty, like Thailand.

Through our ministries - Uncountable Grace, Family of Blessing and Passion in Action - we are actively seeing children being rescued out of dangerous situations and given a hope and a future. They are being raised in a family culture that values them and encourages them to dream, plan and work for their futures!

Lives are being changed! We love seeing their smiling faces and know that they are safe and loved!

Our mission statement encompasses a broad range of Our mission statement encompasses a broad range of what we as Christians, but more specifically, as an organization, are called to do.

First and foremost, we believe GNI is called to proclaim the good news of Jesus to those who are poor and oppressed. Showing love through tangible ways like providing food and shelter, programs and education is a way we extend the love of Jesus to those who may not know Him.

We also believe that being available to just loving on the poor, oppressed and marginalized people shows them that they are valuable, worth caring for and so precious to us, and to Jesus. Sometimes this looks like specific programming, but most of the time it just looks like giving a hug to a woman begging on the street, offering a piece of fruit to a child without a family or praying for those who are physically suffering.

We have been so encouraged by what has been happen We have been so encouraged by what has been happening with our ministries!

Some highlights of this last month that we are thankful for:

- Getting to be on the ground in Thailand and see how ministry is happening in person!
- Hearing that there may be openings for us to get into Myanmar soon! We haven't been able to personally visit S&A in a very long time!
- Hearing about the progress on the boys dorm for Uncountable Grace!
- Getting to be present at an important life event for our partner, Pia!
- Funding, donations and grants that are expanding our reach and efforts in Thailand and Myanmar!

Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. The sad Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

The sad truth is that we have day to recognize the problem Human Trafficking has become.

This isn't strictly a Thai problem, although that's where most of our efforts are centered. Human Trafficking is running rampant worldwide and the only way it will be confronted is if people take a stand for what is right.

What can you do?
Spot the signs. Visit the Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking website for a list of typical signs someone is being trafficked.

Be Vocal. Talk to others about what trafficking is, how it starts, (hello social media!) and what associations you know of that help prevent or assist victims.

Get Involved - Advocate for Change. Change can't happen without action. Do what you can to be part of the answer. Maybe that looks like sharing relevant social media posts. Maybe it's a monthly donation to a charity that helps prevent trafficking situation, or a fundraiser or event that brings awareness to the situations happening worldwide. These men, women and children need us to be their voice.

Spot the signs, be vocal, get involved, be an advocate for change. Where will you start?

Meet our partners, John and Ann, in Northern Thail Meet our partners, John and Ann, in Northern Thailand!

We are grateful for our partnership with John and Ann, a Thai couple serving in Chiang Rai province, Thailand. Through the support that comes from GNI Ministries, they provide full time refuge (housing, food, clothing and education) for 5 children. They also provide ongoing nurture and support for 4 others outside of the home. These vulnerable children come from challenging circumstances and could be prime candidates for human trafficking, if it were not for God’s intervention and the loving care they receive from John and Ann. Best of all, through John and Ann, each of these children is growing in love with Jesus.

Seeing children "graduate" out of this Family of Blessing and move on to pursue college education and careers has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this ministry. We are excited to see what the future holds for Families of Blessing!

Meet our partners, S&A! *Names and faces protected Meet our partners, S&A! *Names and faces protected*

We have a long history with S and his wife A - after helping them rescue their first child over a decade ago, there has been no question that their hearts are for the broken and lost. S actively pursued children that were at risk of being trafficked and brought them into the home, where A loves on them like only a mother can. They are true gifts to our ministry! Seeing the way they run Uncountable Grace and the kids whose lives have been changed as a result is so rewarding and encouraging!

Supporting Uncountable Grace enables S&A to provide the children with education, food and clothing costs. $100 a month is what it takes to fully provide for one child in their home. Without your support, they couldn't do what they do. This ministry operates out of Myanmar, not Thailand like our other ministries, which also brings about it's own set of unique challenges.

If you want to learn more about Uncountable Grace, S&A, or how to support this ministry through GNI, please visit our website or send us a message!

Meet our missions partner, PIA! Pia is passionat Meet our missions partner, PIA!

Pia is passionate about seeing people know the love of Jesus! She has served with GNI Ministries for 4 years, as a native Thai missionary reaching the marginalized Moken Sea Gypsy people on the Andaman Sea coastline of South-Western Thailand. The Moken Sea Gypsies are a nomadic people found in Southern Myanmar and Southern Thailand. Though not a large people group at 2100, only 0.3% are listed at Christian. Pia doesn't hesitate to love on the lost, the broken, to share hope with them and encourage them that although they might be a small group, they are seen, heard and known by our Heavenly Father!

In less than a month, we will be in Thailand! We In less than a month, we will be in Thailand!

We are always excited to head back to a country that feels like another home away from home, to see the kids whose lives have been impacted through GNI and to reconnect with our mission partners there!

Would you pray for us as we go? Pray for:
- Safety as we travel.
- Great connections with our faithful ministry partners.
- Wisdom to navigate challenging situations.
- Knowledge in knowing what opportunities to pursue.

We are grateful for you and couldn't do what we do without your support!
I don't know about you, but I often find it hard t I don't know about you, but I often find it hard to walk by faith, let alone build by faith!

Not that long ago, the need for a boys dorm for Uncountable Grace was first and foremost in our minds, and in the minds of S&A - our partners in Myanmar. S told us that he believed a boys dorm needed to happen and starting building - the timing was right (dry season) and the need was great (boys needing separate accommodations as they mature). S had no doubt that the funding for it would come through.

Through some "God Events," a generous friend offered to fund 75% of the building project! S was able to purchase materials needed and move ahead with the construction way before we anticipated we would be able to raise the funds for him!

What a blessing to have partners that believe in the power of prayer, who walk by faith and now are building a dorm as a result!
40 days - 40 hours - 40 participants. Judy is the 40 days - 40 hours - 40 participants.

Judy is the lovely wife of GNI's President, Rob. She brings a huge part of the passion and heart to the ministry. Judy has struggled with CRPS the last few years, and one of the major ways she combats it is through staying active.

Remember last years half marathon? Judy isn't one to shy away from a challenge, even if it's hard or painful!

She said " I need to keep moving and sustain a cardio type of exercise each day in order to lower my pain levels, as well as stimulate neuron growth. My goal is to swim for 1 hour for 40 days and log my distance. People can sponsor me per km for $1, $2 or whatever their coffee cost that day! Before leaving for Thailand, (early February) I want to swim at least 40 km. I thought it would be encouraging to have 40 people join me in their own MOVE goal for 40 days of this new year of 2023!"

If you are interested in joining Judy in her challenge, either by donating or by MOVING with her, please send us a message, contact us on the website or comment on this post! Lets MOVE together toward the goal of seeing lives saved from human trafficking!
Today is World Trafficking Awareness Day. I think Today is World Trafficking Awareness Day.

I think one of the key parts to stopping human trafficking is awareness - when people are made aware - and acknowledge - what trafficking is and what it looks like, along with its affects, people are often moved to help impact change.

So what does this look like? Not everyone can or should pack up and go fight trafficking on the "front lines." Not everyone can give funds to the projects needed to help combat dangerous situations.

What can you do? Research what trafficking is, and be open to having conversations about how it impacts lives, people, families, economy, industry, women, men, and children.

We would love to be the ones to have that conversation with you! Be sure to check out our website or send a message if you want to continue the conversation.

Are you a "New Years Resolution" kind of person? W Are you a "New Years Resolution" kind of person? What kind of things do you want to see happen in 2023?

This year, we have big goals and plans. We would love to see a boys dormitory built as soon as possible for Uncountable Grace. There are multiple new ministry opportunities that we are in prayerful consideration of. Seeing complete funding come in for all the kids at Uncountable Grace would be an incredible blessing, to them and us.

As you consider what you would like to see happen in your life this year, would you think about supporting our partners in Thailand and Myanmar? Maybe this year, 2023, can be the year you resolve to look past what you can see and trust that supporting GNIM changes lives overseas in an incredible way.

This year has seen some incredible challenges and This year has seen some incredible challenges and victories. We want to take time to thank every one of you who has been involved with GNIM this year, whether it's been through funding, checking in on us or supporting us and our partners in prayer.

We are excited at new ministry prospects in the coming year and to see the lives of the poor and oppressed changed through the transformative work of Jesus!

Without Christmas, we wouldn't be able to do what Without Christmas, we wouldn't be able to do what we do.

GNIM believes in the transformation of communities, of people, through the good news of Jesus Christ. Without Christmas, we wouldn't have hope, grace or the gospel to share with the poor and oppressed. Because of Jesus, lives are being changed and set free.

Merry Christmas - may this season bring you joy, peace and knowledge of the hope we have through Jesus!
"We love these kids! If they come to us needing he "We love these kids! If they come to us needing help, we can not turn them away."

I laughed recently when another GNIM board member told me a story about how S&A (Uncountable Grace) approached him saying "Can we take in kids who need help?" Uncountable Grace was in it's beginning stages and S&A had recently rescued their first child. The board member mentioned to me that he gave S&A the "okay" to start looking for kids who were at risk. It didn't take long before S&A contacted GNIM saying "We have 25 kids!" This board member expected one or two more children to be added initially, not 25 at a time!

That is a prime example of the hearts S&A have for vulnerable children. They welcome them in and care for them like their own. These children are shown love, care, compassion and healing, all while participating in normal family responsibilities and activities. Our partners are truly a gift and we are excited to see where the next step in their journey takes them.

If you are interested in partnering with us to support Uncountable Grace (S&A), please visit our website or send us a message! We would love to have you join our ever growing GNIM family!
Blueprints always take projects from idea to reali Blueprints always take projects from idea to reality!

Our partners S&A with Uncountable Grace recently sent us this sketch of what they hope the new boys dorm will look like. S has a wide knowledge of construction and is ready to get to work to build the boys in the home their own dormitory, as well as a washroom space.

Will you help us make this happen? We need to raise $16,000 CAD in order to be able to get this building built. We know it can happen and are excited to see the boys in their own space!

Please send us a message or visit our website if you're interested in helping us give these boys a new home!
It's hard to fathom selling your child in exchange It's hard to fathom selling your child in exchange for drugs.

Yet, that's what happens in Thailand.

Drug and Alchohol abuse is one of the main causes of human trafficking in Northern Thailand. Generations of abuse continues to rampage families, leaving the children at risk of being exploited, vulnerable and alone. Often, children are left to fend for themselves after one or both parents pass away from overdosing.

Our partners, S&A are working hard to ensure that every child has a home and an opportunity to grow in a loving, safe family environment. For just over $100/month per child, they provide shelter, clothing, food and education to kids who are escaping the cycle of poverty, abuse and exploitation.

If you're interested in learning more or want to donate to help Uncountable Grace continue their ministry, please visit our website. Help us give these children hope.
Having an identity and knowing who you are is so i Having an identity and knowing who you are is so important for normal growth and devolopment.

We are priviledged in North America to have identity given to us through family, history, culture and even the government through ID that is standard issue to every child born.

That's not always the case.

Our partner, Pia, works with Moking Sea People in South Eastern Thailand. Because these people are Gypsys, they are unrecognized by the Thai government. Their issued ID is a bunch of zero's, no different from the next person beside them.

This leads to all sorts of issues when it comes to trying to go to school, get a job, apply for Visa's or even more basic daily needs. One of Pia's main goals is to show these people they are loved and cherished for who they are, as Sea gypsys,, as people.
