Overcoming the Darkness with God’s Light

Bringing the Light of God’s Goodness to a Ever-Darkening World.

Let’s face it, things have not looked this dark since the early 60’s. I remember growing up practicing air-raid drills at Devine Street Elementary school in Sarnia, Ontario. The sirens would sound their mournful wail and under our desks we would flee! All we knew from watching on our black-and-white TV was that there was a tense stand off between the Soviet Union and the USA down in Cuba. Nuclear warfare was talked about all the time. Though I was young, the fear was pervasive. Somehow, at the 11th hour, someone brokered an arrangement to settle the stand off. Some 60 years later, the school I went to now gone, but the memories are still there. Now, with wars and rumours of wars happening in many places, with weapons much quicker and more powerful than even in the early 60’s, one wonders, is this really going to be WWIII?

Even with so much dark news to follow, Jesus still is and always will be the Light of the world (John 8:12)! Through your generosity, God is changing lives through our ministries, whether with the vulnerable young ones gaining a hope and a future in our Uncountable Grace (Myanmar) and Family of Blessing (Thailand) ministries, or through evangelists we support (such as J**a) who traverse the hills of Shan State to win unreached tribal people to Christ. With support that comes through GIVING TUESDAY, we hope to:

  • Provide funds for Christmas Gospel Outreaches in two hill-tribe villages in eastern Myanmar.
  • Provide funds to feed 30 vulnerable children for a month in eastern Myanmar and Northern Thailand.
  • Provide funds to complete a much needed new kitchen for the children’s home of Uncountable Grace (Myanmar)

For all who give, thank you for blessing our ministries and helping to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the poor and oppressed. For those of you who may be able to give more or give for the first time, let’s hit that donate link and smash the goal of $7,500 for GIVING TUESDAY!

May God bless you richly in return as you bless this ministry.
