Saying, “Yes, Lord.”

Have you ever felt led to do something that feels so beyond yourself? So often in life we want to wait until all our ducks are in a row and we really feel prepared before we step into our destinies. But one thing God is showing us and our partners is that He just wants us to say “Yes” to whatever He is calling us to – whenever, wherever, and however. We love the phrase “God doesn’t call the equipped — He equips the called.”

Amber has really been experiencing this as she has chosen to follow Jesus into something that feels so much bigger than her own abilities. God has opened special opportunities for her to get lay counselling training so she can better walk with people to healing and restoration. One of these training sessions was held in Cambodia where Amber was trained in facilitating a trauma counselling seminar.  Amber says, “The best way to learn is to teach!”  She is very thankful for the amazing people God is bringing alongside her to mentor and teach her.
