This is our (Rob & Judy’s) oldest granddaughter, Makenna. It was so special to have her with us in Thailand. Her sensitive gentle spirit was constantly lending her gramma an arm to lean on and some fun rides in wheelchairs. Makenna was a huge blessing to our kids in refuge as she baked cookies with them, played games, and communicated God’s love without words. She wrote:
“This trip to thailand taught me that God is always in control. Meeting S* and A*, and J* and A* and their kids taught me that God always provides. I think that God changed my life through this trip by teaching me about how privileged I am and to not take what I have for granted. I feel as though many other people my age do not have this opportunity to learn about privilege and Gods provisions in such a way.”
