WHY THIS MATTERS TO US …
We want to be at the front lines of seeing lives changed for God’s glory. The main thing GNI Ministries does to help make this happen, from a helicopter point of view, is listed as:
PROCLAMATION OF THE CHRISTIAN MESSAGE TO POOR AND OPPRESSED PEOPLE, CURRENTLY FOCUSING IN SOUTH EAST ASIA WITH EMPHASIS ON ASSISTING LOCAL PEOPLE TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN SUCH MINISTRIES.
We believe that proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus is vital for true life change to happen. It will always be at the core of what we do. However, we also believe that along with the gospel message, we must also provide actions that help facilitate life change. When one sees impoverished families trafficking their children, we cannot sit idly by.
James 2:14-17 (ESV) What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
This brings us to the next BIG thing. Besides proclaiming the Gospel of Christ, a big part of what God has led us to do involves:
- ADVANCING THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THAILAND AND MYANMAR BY COUNTERING HUMAN TRAFFICKING, PROVIDING REFUGE, FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT THROUGH PREACHING, TEACHING, BIBLE STUDIES AND DISCIPLESHIP.
Most of these activities sum up what we presently are doing in partnership with our national leaders in Thailand and Myanmar. We want to leave a lasting impact that will impact generations to come. The opportunity for bringing life change to South-East Asia is great, but we can’t do it alone. Please consider partnering with us to help make this happen!
