Joy in the Going!
This is Meagan, one of our GNI board members. She was Jesus’ spark of contagious joy and laughter, mixed with a sensitive discerning heart.
“When people ask me how my trip to Thailand was, I have been finding it hard to express the full extent of all the trip entailed. Meeting J* and A* who run Families of Blessing and their kids was incredibly impactful. They all have such hearts to know and follow Jesus. I connected with them emotionally in a way that I didn’t expect which has challenged me to evaluate our ministry with them in a new way.
Spending time in worship with Uncountable Grace was a memory I won’t soon forget – their hands were raised in worship and eyes closed, in complete oblivion of everything around them, only focused on Jesus. Knowing these kids and families have such difficult circumstances and yet are so full of praise really challenged me coming back to Canada. Am I teaching my kids and helping them see who Jesus IS – not just theology but also a personal relationship. Am I so focused on Jesus that He impacts and affects every aspect of my life?”
